This is a blended Scotch whisky from La Maison du Whisky’s Artist independent bottling series, created by Compass Box. This peaty expression was created as part of the Velier 70th anniversary celebrations, with 1,902 bottles produced.
Compass Box – Artist #7 (La Maison du Whisky)
Nose: Cut grass and sugarcane, with perfumed smoke building in the background.
Palate: Caraway, peat reappears to bring earthy notes to the palate, a subtle chocolate-y note here and there.
Finish: Ash, menthol and sea salt.
