The range of single barrel bourbon from Evan Williams has long been a reliable source for top-notch American whiskey at very reasonable prices. This 2010 vintage expression (bottled in 2018) continues that theme. Excellent stuff.
Evan Williams Single Barrel 2010 (bottled 2018)
Nose: Cinnamon and nutmeg spice up front, followed by gingerbread and cooked fruit.
Palate: Coconut biscuits, orange peel, a touch of buttery shortbread and savoury oak.
Finish: Lingering corn sweetness and black pepper.
