It’s the second release of the awesome single malt from the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery! The marriage of malts is fairly similar to its predecessor, with a selection of pot and column still distillates aged in bourbon casks alongside a single sherry cask. Just 6,000 bottles were released at 46% ABV.
Nose: Some orange peel, blueberry muffin and lemon meringue pie, with a side of barley sugar.
Palate: Citrus ice cream, cooked apple and honey, with vanilla cream, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
Finish: Floral honey, toasted nuts and cinnamon.
