Octomore 6 Year Old 2007 (cask 16746) – Sauternes Cask (Rest & Be Thankful)

Well, this is rather exciting – Octomore single malt Scotch whisky from the Bruichladdich distillery, independently bottled by the Rest & Be Thankful Whisky Company. This heavily peated, Sauternes cask-matured Islay whisky was distilled in December 2007 and bottled in November 2014 at 6 years old with an outturn of 303 bottles, presented at a robust 64% ABV. No chill-filtration or additional colours were used.
