This limited edition Tobermory was independently bottled by the Rest & Be Thankful folks after nearly two decades of ageing. Distilled on the Isle of Mull in March 1996, it rested in a single bourbon cask (#126, if you were curious) for 19 years. In August 2015, the single malt was bottled up at 56% ABV, with a release of 253 individually numbered bottles.
Nose: Exceptionally chocolatey, with milk chocolate digestives, spiced orchard fruit and banana sweetness.
Palate: Salted dark chocolate, mint tea and honeyed stone fruit, with apricot jam on sourdough toast.
Finish: Spiced apple cake and oodles of melted milk chocolate.
