A marvellous indie bottling of single malt from Tobermory, drawn from an oloroso sherry butt filled in October 2008 and emptied in July 2017. This 8 year old whisky from the Isle of Mull was independently bottled for the Lady of the Glen range by Hannah Whisky Merchants, producing 353 bottles.
Nose: Damson, tangerine, coffee and a touch of spicy barley.
Palate: Mr Kipling’s Country Slices, dark chocolate and a huge helping of thick oloroso.
Finish: Rye bread spiciness peeks out from underneath layers of treacle.
