Ben Nevis 16 Year Old 1996 (cask 9639) – Old Malt Cask (Douglas Laing)

Bottled in March 2013, just before Douglas Laing’s assets was split between the two Laing brothers, this Ben Nevis whisky definitely deserves to be part of the Old Malt Cask range, reserved for exceptionally tasty single cask whiskies. This one was matured in a sherry butt from November 1996.
