A single cask bottling of some rather interesting single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery – this is their heavily peated single malt, which is presented under the Croftengea name! This particular release features whisky matured in a bourbon cask from March 2007 to 2017, before being bottled for the Spirit & Cask Range with an outturn of 300 bottles.
Nose: Toasted oak and wet grass. Robust malt and a touch of sea salt.
Palate: Caramel, burnt sugar, peat smoke and another grassy note or two.
Finish: Earthy and quite rich with smoke.
