Single malt from Miltonduff, independently bottled without colouring or chill-filtering by A. D. Rattray for the Cask Collection. It matured in a bourbon hogshead for 18 long years, up until November 2013, when cask 2592 was emptied at cask strength into 194 bottles.
Nose: Fruity notes of plum, with soft and hints of butterscotch sweeties.
Palate: Barley, oats and vanilla, with more of those butterscotch sweets tumbling through onto the palate.
Finish: A delightfully soft finish despite the 58.5%
