This is a rare 1965 bottling of The Glenlivet by George and J.G.Smith.
Smith’s Glenlivet 1965 (bottled 2006) – Gordon & MacPhail
Nose: Malty with estery notes of green fruits, especially brambly apples and gooseberries.
Palate: Strawberries and raspberries followed by toffee and cream with a hint of wood char.
Finish: The finish is rich and fruity with a little butterscotch on the tail.
