French single malt from the G. Miclo distillery and its Welche’s Whisky range. An enjoyably bright and fruity unpeated expression, with lip-smacking vanilla notes running all the way through.
G. Miclo Welche’s Single Malt
Nose: Apricot, peach and raspberry. Toasted hazelnuts and some earthy malt.
Palate: Still packed with stone fruit, though subtle herbaceous elements develop on the palate – dill and lemongrass, namely.
Finish: Just a touch of citrus and buttered brown bread lasts.
